In my last post I shared Where To Go & What To Do In Atlanta, & today I’m sharing Where To Eat & What To Order In Atlanta. Prepare yourself for mouth-watering dishes!!
GREEN SPROUT – ATLANTA, GA:
Chinese food is one of Lorenzo & mines absolute favorite cuisines & we can both honestly say Green Sprout served us some of the best Chinese food we’ve ever had! This establishment was originally ALL vegetarian, but for the last year has been ALL vegan, which is awesome! They have a huge local following in Atlanta, & it’s because all of the food is so yummy! Their menu is very extensive & offers everything from soups, to fried apps, to veggies, rice & noodle dishes, & just about every type of veg meat you can think of. They have many flavor options for veg chicken, beef, pork, shrimp, salmon, & scallops – more proof that ANYTHING can be made vegan! All of the food we got was amazing, but we both vote the vegetable lo mein as the best. It is rare to find egg-less lo mein noodles, so it was quite the treat. There is no question that Green Sprout will be on EVERY SINGLE Atlanta agenda we ever have. Yum!! Prices range from $12-$16/entrée. Available for dine-in, pickup & delivery if you’re lucky enough to be close enough 🙂
LUCKY LOTUS – ATLANTA, GA:
We just happened to stumble across Lucky Lotus while walking through Ponce City Market & boy are we glad that we did. Lucky Lotus offers three main things; 01. Fresh squeezed juices, 02. Smoothies, & 03. Acai bowls. I love love loveeeeee my acai bowls, & I’m kind of picky on blend ratios, but they don’t even have a blend. It’s literally straight acai berry & omg is it incredible! Topped with coconut, & fresh fruits, so good! We quite enjoyed everything we got from there & definitely recommend. Prices are the standard you’d expect. Seating is limited.
SOUL VEGETARIAN – ATLANTA, GA:
Soul Vegetarian is the largest vegan restaurant chain in the entire world! And that’s because they know what they’re doing! This is the only restaurant I’ve ever gone to that I loved so much that I went back the very next day. I mean we were only in Atlanta for 48 hrs & there were other restaurants we wanted to check out, but once we had Soul Vegetarian, we HAD to have it again, & pronto! As you’ll see below, we got quite a variety of dishes & that’s only the tip of the iceburg! We loved everything, but there were certain things I have to give extra praise towards… Not every vegan mac-n-cheese is wonderful, this one however is amazing. It’s still second to the mac-n-cheese from my fav restaurant in the world, Sublime, but only by like .06% The potato wedges, uhm NOTHING in the world compares, or even comes close. They are so rich in flavor. To annunciate how much I loved them – they would be the first thing I would write down on my request for my last meal! If you can only go to one place in Atlanta, go here! You will not be disappointed unless your taste buds are seriously messed up! Prices are under $10, it’s madness, good madness, but you can easily spend a lot more by doing the right thing & ordering EVERYTHING of the menu!
CINNAHOLIC – ATLANTA, GA:
I made a quick mention of Cinnaholic in last months roundup, where I mention my excitement that they are soon to open three locations in my hometown of Jacksonville, FL. We were too impatient to wait until the opening here, so we tried it in Atlanta. The concept is genius… They have cinnamon buns. You pick your frosting. You can chose from twenty permanent flavors, as well as a few seasonal flavors, everything from traditional cream cheese, to fruity flavors like strawberry or lemon, to dessert flavors like chocolate or butterscotch, etc. Then you pick your topping(s). The have twenty-two topping options. Some of the topping options include; various nuts, fresh fruit, brownie bites, cookie dough, pretzels, sauces, etc. There’s an endless amount of combinations that I’ll be surprised if I ever get the same thing more than once. Prices start at $4.75
We are going back to Atlanta around early Nov & I cannot wait. I’m seriously so excited to eat all of the goodness again! If you’re planning go to Atlanta, you have to check as many of these places out as possible. If you have no plans to go to Atlanta, now is clearly the time to change that, haha.
