I love a good cold-shoulder, & today I’m sharing one of my favs.
When wearing a heavier fabric, such as denim, it’s easy to look weighed down. That’s why the ruffles are what sold me on this top. They give it such an airy & girly feel that really helped to disguise the heaviness. Pair this top with some black leggings & open-toe shoes, & the heaviness of this top is lightened even more.
Now if only getting into this top was as easy as putting this outfit together. Are you ready for my embarrassing story? It took me not one, not two, not three, but FOUR tries until I had this top on just right. I’m not kidding!
First I ended up with my arms through the “cold-shoulder” part, looking ridiculous with the sleeves just hanging down by my sides. Next, I got the top on right, but then I noticed my bra-straps were showing, so I had to switch my bra. Okay, so now I have on a strapless bra, everything should go smooth, right!? Ha! I ended up with my arms through the “cold-shoulder” part AGAIN. On the fourth try, I finally got it right. (Btw this was NOT my first “cold-shoulder rodeo”…)
Anywho, I hope I didn’t discourage you from buying this top, or tops of the like. Haha. I guess I should mention now that this top is currently 50% of, so get it while it’s hot!
